incorporating a business, etc.)
Lakeland’s reference librarians have no legal training and are not permitted to discuss legal matters with
patrons. They will direct you to the location of the books and materials in the Library. They will not help you
select specific forms, statutes, or cases in preparing your action, nor will they render any type of legal advice
or suggestions.
For legal advice, you must contact an attorney. There are resources online and in the telephone book to help
you find an attorney. Legal Aid societies and local Bar Associations have Attorney Referral Services to assist
