Bookstore
Lakeland's bookstore sells textbooks, both new and used. Students must produce a Lakeland class schedule and a photo ID if purchasing textbooks with financial aid or a credit card. A photo ID is also required to sell back textbooks.

Lakeland Library
The Library does not purchase textbooks to circulate, however, we have a few donations that do. Normal loan periods apply. Also, some instructors put textbooks on reserve and the library has a small but growing collection of textooks to be used in the library. To find textbooks in the library, search the catalog by book title, authors, or search the textbook reserve list. Each textbook has an ISBN number located on the back cover that is unique to that book. Searching by ISBN is probably the easiest way to locate a specific edition.

- Textbooks Reserves This computer generated list is not sorted by date or in alphabetical order. Click on "Limit This Search" and sort the list by date for the most recent textbook reserves.
In addition to textbooks, instructors may place other supplemental or required materials in the Library. These are called Course Reserves. You may search the reserves list by course name or instructor name:

Expanding your search to OhioLINK
Occasionally, one can locate current textbooks in OhioLINK, but it is more common to find previous editions. OhioLINK books check out for 3 weeks and can be renewed if no one else places a hold, however, textbooks are in high demand. There are no guarantees that textbooks will arrive on a timely basis.

Expanding your search to ClevNet
Occasionally, one can locate current textbooks in ClevNet. Below is a link to ClevNet. To borrow from ClevNet, you need to get a card from any ClevNet Branch (Euclid, Willoughby, Perry, Madison, Kirtland etc.) Again, there are no guarantees that textbooks will arrive on a timely basis.

Textbooks on the Web
Many students compare prices of textbooks on the web. Prices on the web may be somewhat lower, but be aware of delivery times and shipping costs. Lakeland Library does not endorse any particular booksellers.
